It was almost my friend’s birthday, I planned to give them something as a present. I planned to make some very simple stuff and call it a day. So I looked at some project ideas online and found a few simple projects that use DFPlayer Mini. So my plan was simple, I would create a simple box in Fusion 360 and shove an Arduino Nano Every, a DFPlayer, battery, a speaker, and maybe a converter and a display inside and done and done.

I just realized it’s been over 4 months since my last (and only) post. I do have quite a lot of big projects going on right now, but honestly, none of them are in a state where I can proudly show them off. So, to make my site less empty, I decided to do a short review of a program I discovered back in the summer. As you may know (or probably not), I make games. Mostly pixel art style games using Pico-8. I try to make everything myself. From coding to sprites to music. Luckily, Pico-8 is a feature complete fantasy console, with built-in editors for all of these.

So I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre that has been sitting there gathering dust ever since I picked it up from trash can a while ago. Originally, I planned to use it to replace my Raspberry Pi as my Jellyfin music streaming server, but I never got time for it. And now, I am using my Mac Mini for that. So, I don’t really have any use for it anymore. Since it was just sitting there collecting dust, I figured I might as well give it a new lease on life. So I decided to mod the case, because why not?
